The room was at the back on the other side of the pretty garden and courtyard from the main house which was very quite and private. The family was polite and caring but not over bearing and the room was clean and fully equipped.
The room was quite spacious, clean and well maintained while the bathroom was also good size with soaps and clean towels. We had our lunch and it was really very amazing. In case you plan to visit old Trinidad which is locate not far from the main square then you can eat pizza on the street (make sure you convert around 4-5 Euro to local money, this is the only way you can pay for pizza and ice cream on the street), you will surely not regret it. The cocktails were great with chilled beer and all priced reasonable and no tourist rip off prices. Every morning the husband and wife team at Casa OsmaryAlberto asks if you would have dinner or lunch but no pressure if you don’t want to. The reason for asking is because they get the freshest produce from the market. The wife is really a good cook and we eat there 4 dinners every time there was a new and interesting dish. This even applied to the breakfast that comes with a new and fresh juice that includes mango, orange, guava, water melon, eggs coked in your preference. We truly enjoyed our dining experience as it had something new that was local which was just tasty and brilliant.
On our first night the dinner was even more enjoyable as a really talented guitarist played some local melodies. I savored a Cuban cigar offered by Alberto after dinner while we enjoyed remarkable mojitos. The house is in a very good location as it took us just 10 minutes walk to reach the historical center of Trinidad. The rooms come with all the amenities that you might expect and the internet access facility which was although not speedy helped me stay connected. Moreover every Saturday night there is a open air dance party for the young people that goes from 9 pm to 11 pm just behind Casa OsmaryAlberto. The music is quite loud which might disturb your sleep but I suggest you embrace it and dance along on the patio upstairs where you can even see the lights.
